This program looks at the science and art of persuasion, focusing on the key pillars of advocacy in the modern world, traced from the ancients. From Bono today (yes, U2’s Bono!) to Cicero of the ancient world, we explore deductive and inductive reasoning, logical fallacy traps, tropes, and wise word choice, along with a healthy dose of the science of persuasion’s pillars of reciprocity, unity, and consistency.
